Report a Bug to Apple Friday - Another Mail.app problem
Here is what I have reported to Apple in Bug Reporter (Bug # 4233485):
This is a UI consistency issue.
The attachment Save button in Mail.app does not drop down on single click. The only way to see the menu options is to click and hold the button which is not consistent with the way that other drop down menus work in Mail.app or in other places in OS X.
I have to think that most people want to use the Add to iPhoto feature, but single-clicking on the button produces a Save sheet. I suspect that many people don't even know there is an ability to Add to iPhoto.
Additionally, if there are two attachments in the message, the Save sheet doesn't specify that it is saving multiple documents.
